Educational significance of Chalk And Duster Movie

[20/01 8:42 am] Tariq Malik:
A few days back Mr Abdul Ahad Mir [ZRC] posted a video showcasing the plight of dedicated teachers when they fall prey to corrupt systems. What we the teachers suffer at heart is easily potrayed by the film makers. What a role they play in showing the society its ugly facet!
I got curious to watch the film "Chalk n Duster"
The dedicated teachers in the film viz the principal,  the maths teacher, and the science teacher earn laurals from the student community much to the discomfort of trustees. Their integrity is challanged. They are insulted for the wrongs which they had never commited. They are terminated for no reasons. The dedicated maths teacher suffers heart attack. Fortunately the teacher had earned that much of fame that the a news channel shows the hospital footage and mobilises the student community to realise the role of the vetern teacher in their career. The stream of conciousness of the student is evoked and they email the videos highlighting the contribution of the teacher.
The administration remains hellbent to prove the credibility of its decision. They take a live test of their capabilities and set the toughest possible questions so that the teachers could be proven deadwood and outdated. Thank God the teachers come out with flying colours and answer all the questions. Ultimately the reputation of the teachers is restored only when they proved their mettle by drinking from the running stream rather than from a stagnant pond.
The viewer is given to understand that the teacher needs to update his knowledge every moment if he wants his integrity be kept intact.
